Johnny (Shun-Hsiang) Hu, Hons BSc., D.Ch. Chiropodist, Foot Specialist
Johnny Hu is a registered chiropodist in the province of Ontario. He graduated from the Chiropody program at the Michener Institute in Toronto and holds a D.Ch. designation. Johnny also holds a double major degree in Biological Neuroscience and Physiology from the University of Toronto. His clinical experience includes the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Newmarket Foot Centre, Rexdale Community Health Centre, and works in collaboration at multidisciplinary clinics in GTA with other professionals, including physiotherapists and chiropractors. Johnny is an active member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine (CFPM).

Antony Hu, Hons BSc., D.Ch. Chiropodist , Foot specialist
Antony is a registered Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. He graduated with an Honours in Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Toronto before acquiring his Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody from the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. His clinical experience includes his rotation at the Michener Chiropody Clinic, Women’s College Hospital Foot Care Centre, Women’s College Hospital Wound Clinic, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Waterloo Foot Clinic and Royal City Foot Clinic. Antony is focused on taking a holistic approach in healthcare to provide the best outcomes in improving the quality of life of patients with foot problems.
Thao Tran, Hons BSc., D.Ch. Chiropodist , Foot specialist
Thao Tran is a licensed Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodist of Ontario. She graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University before acquiring her Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody from the Michener Institute of Education at UHN . Her clinical experience includes her rotation at the Michener Chiropody Clinic, We-Fix-U Port Hope, Northhumberland Family Health Team and North Oshawa Rehab and Foot Clinic. She is very passionate about providing quality footcare to her patients and helping them improve their quality of life.
Lorraine Baclit Hons BSc., D.Ch. Chiropodist
Foot specialist Lorraine Baclit is a licensed Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodist of Ontario. She graduated with a degree in Comparative Physiology at the University of Toronto Mississauga before acquiring her Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody from the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. Her clinical experience includes her rotation at the Michener Chiropody Clinic as well as Wilson Health Services, a multidisciplinary clinic in collaboration with other healthcare practitioners which include chiropractors and physiotherapists. Friendly and enthusiastic, she is dedicated to improving the well-being of her patients by sharing her knowledge of foot health and providing a comprehensive foot-care approach.

Department of Veteran’s Affairs
The Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) Canada provides coverage for a range of services and devices for veterans. As a provider for DVA, Foundation Chiropody can apply for and arrange direct funding for eligible clients.
Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services
In some cases, the Ontario Disability and Support Program or Ontario Works may help provide funding for certain prescribed devices. Our staff can help eligible clients apply and arrange for direct funding.
Non-Insured Health Benefit Program
The NIHB program provides overage for a range of services and orthotic devices for First Nations and Inuit people. As providers for NIHB, we will apply for and arrange direct funding for eligible clients.
Private or Group Insurance
Foundation Chiropody is a preferred provider of many third party insurance companies, including some Green Shield plans. As each insurance policy is different, it is important to understand your coverage. We can assist you with clarification of terminology and funding issues with the insurance companies. In some cases, we can directly invoice your insurance company.
